Synopsis
Isabelle was tricked by her fiancé and step-sister, leading to her abduction and imprisonment in the mountains. The writing feels smooth and easy to follow, even when the plot gets intense. Several scenes were genuinely touching, and a few plot turns caught me completely off guard. I am genuinely looking forward to the next chapters and seeing where this story goes.
I started this book with low expectations, but it surprised me in the best way. What I like most is the pacing: quiet moments, tension, and twists are balanced very well. Overall, this is a memorable read with strong emotions and a lot of replay value.
I usually skip long novels, but this one kept my attention all the way through. The character growth is convincing, and the emotional conflicts feel realistic instead of forced. If the author keeps this quality, this could easily become one of my favorite books this year.
